Saturn Rx in Scorpio: Drawing the Poison out

Current Saturn Rx in Scorpio has people feeling deeply disrupted. Some are totally panicking. I’ve been doing readings lately involving spiritual breakdowns that are coming to a head. Many of these clients are also experiencing their Saturn return. It’s a very difficult thing to deal with. There is a strong need to defend emotional goals, which can block intimate connection with others. The freezing of emotions causes great stagnation within the energy body. This could’ve led to rot over time. Don’t walk around like a Zombie. Come back to life. Claim your power.

By exerting disciplined effort one may obtain transformation. Get rid of excess belongings. Eliminate everything which is unnecessary from your life. Such significant reform work will prove rewarding.

The ‘death itch’ runs deep. This is the work of Scorpio. The mourning of former ways of life is in full swing. Perhaps you’ve exerted all of your energy trying to control a situation or a person. It’s possible you’re feeling deeply dissatisfied with life. Don’t worry, dashed expectations create humility. There is nothing you’re facing that you cannot overcome. Stand tall.

Long-term relationships are coming to an end in epic proportions.

Many lovers and friends have soured beyond the marked expiration date. Ask yourself where they have taken you. What have you learned about yourself?

If Saturn is taking them out, it’s because you failed to do so during the last retrograde cycle. Pluto in Retrograde reminds us that even the most pleasurable of affairs may one day die. Lessen your death grip and relax some.

What does pleasure mean in your life? Are you suffering painfully for it?

21 Degrees of Scorpio is a definitely a degree of loss, both natally and in prediction, but the loss is not always negative.

So if you’ve been deeply battling misery.. If you are starting to collapse under pressure.. Perhaps desire to exert control over situations lately hasn’t gone well. Let go!

Scorpio pushes us to reanalyze self-preservation methods. Defense mechanisms are holding back growth. A once ideal life suddenly feels highly incorrect. The need to break free is overwhelming.

Ego desires are transformed, from despondent circumstance, into spiritual lessons.

A structured energetic rebirth is at hand. It’s actually very exciting! Masks are falling away.

Saturn coupled with Scorpio plays out as a tragic, slow-going nightmare. Scorpio comes from the deep to give you the finger. Then she drags you back down with her. She will confuse your emotions and challenge you until you’re raw. While the poison is being drawn from your lips you will regurgitate and recoil in pain. Scorpio longs to pass power along to you. She will clean out your vessel so it may be filled.

Saturn is here to teach you life’s difficult lessons. If you have avoided personal responsibility, you are going to pay for it. Karmic lessons swing back around during retrograde phases. Saturn is known as the ruler of Karma, the order of things to come. In order to grow you need to fix what is broken within yourself. Scorpio will definitely help point out those issues. Don’t run from your mistakes. Take ownership for your actions. Prioritize your re-schedule and your life. Things will get easier.

The Feist song “Let it die” is appropriate.

Evolution is often painful. So take a breath, my friends. Everything comes step-by-step, through practicing your truth. Don’t hold onto a dead relationship. Let go and ride on. The next trip is just around the corner.

Saturn wants to clear your plate karmically. Sometimes we go through hell before realizing heaven is already here.

Saturn Rx won’t be in Scorpio forever. It entered October 5, 2012 to December 23, 2014; with a bit of relief for a moment; then back to finish the lesson June 14, 2015 to September 17, 2015. Saturn usually remains in a sign for 2-2.5years.

Currently Saturn sits at 21 Scorpio. Here is the Sabian description:

A pair of glasses with no lenses in them.
Brutally direct vision and will focused straight down the middle. An outrageously maverick sensibility, convinced that seeing it all just like it is, is the only way to go. Defiant of roles, masks, and secondary references. Hugely unimpressed by any form of privilege or specialness. Desperate to break through all barriers, to go for the jugular vein. Neither temperate nor balanced in any sense. In the path of bluntly insisting upon your right of way you encounter huge shadows, and you are sorely tempted to assume that they come from the others. But eventually, the hard way, the truth makes itself known that ornery self-righteousness casts its own formidable shadows, and each and every one of these lays a claim upon you, you cannot refuse. Only when the rage has turned to love do the karmic shadows disperse and bare existence then become a true place to be.

Plutonian shifts are earthshaking, bringing individuals to their knees. When I examined the charts of several clients last week, all had natal Saturn in Scorpio, in the 8th or 12th house. One client even had Saturn transiting her exact natal degree the morning of her reading. There’s a lot going on out there. Rise to the challenge!

With infinite Love- C

  1. Excellent article!!! Very insightful and precisely in synch with my own experience of Saturn being retrograde in my 8th house, and going through my first saturn return. The experience has been life changing, delicious, empowering, and painful at moments. But like a true Aries Sun Sign, I chose to roll with it and be fearless as change and transformation took it’s natural course. Thank you for sharing!!! 🙂 P.S. Let it die by Feist is a perfect representation of Saturn in Scorpio relationship endings.
